Snow Peak
This peak probably has a name on the map. And that's about it. It's not high, there are no famous climbing routes on it. It's just - there.
We all have names but can feel insignificant. Unworthy. Not big enough. Not loud enough. Not ambitious enough. Not... - you name it.
For me, the curves, the shape, the way the slopes fall away on all sides, just gives the feeling of what a mountain is all about. Ask a child to draw a mountain and it may well be shaped like this.
I took this photo to remind myself of all this. And if it speaks to you in a similar way - great!

DETAILS
Archival pigment print on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Matt Baryta 308 gsm. It's printed, personally by myself, on stunning Hahnemühle Photo Rag Matt Baryta which is the first matt baryta paper of the Photo Rag family, lending FineArt prints a truly unique character and artistic note. The white cotton paper contains no optical brighteners and features a very fine, discreet surface. In combination with the matt premium inkjet coating, it guarantees outstanding print results with impressive reproduction of vivid colours, details, and deep blacks. The additional barium sulphate in the coating enhances the print's tonal range, sharpness and clarity. The printed areas reveal an elegant, subtle sheen, while the unprinted areas remain matt to beautifully accentuate brilliance, making it an exclusive alternative to analogue baryta paper.
Each print is one of a kind and will vary slightly. Hand-signed and numbered on the back.
