Twin Peaks
Winter was late coming to the Italian mountains in 2024. Flowers had already started in the valleys when, eventually, it cooled down and snow - and quite some - fell in late Spring.
I was staying in my little cabin in the mountains at the time when suddenly, overnight, we were in a world surrounded by white tops. There was still a fair amount of cloud around but this only added atmosphere and life to the mountain summits, hiding and reappearing as the clouds shifted in the wind.
This then is one of the photos I took, reminding myself how life can so quickly be transformed by events outside our control. Not always good or easy transformations but in this case, one of beauty and mystery.
